연남 드림플러스 오픈스튜디오
한화생명에서 운영하는 드림플러스(Dreamplus)는 크리에이터의 지속 가능한 성장을 돕고 창작 생태계를 활성화하기 위해 운영되는 오픈 이노베이션 플랫폼입니다.
이번 프로젝트는 이러한 사회적 지원(Social Support)의 일환으로 조성된 연남동의 드림플러스 거점입니다.
이 공간은 단순한 영상 콘텐츠 제작 시설을 넘어, 크리에이터들이 대중과 소통하고 서로 교류하며 성장할 수 있는 '연결과 확장의 공간'으로 기획되었습니다.
도심 속 열린 스튜디오를 통해 창작자들에게는 실질적인 제작 환경을 제공하고, 지역 사회에는 새로운 활력을 불어넣는 크리에이티브 허브로서의 역할을 수행합니다.
기존 건물의 형태는 드림플러스의 유기체적 브랜드 이미지를 모티브로 디자인되었습니다. 외부 방문객의 흐름을 자연스럽게 내부로 이끌어 들일 수 있는 구조이기에 대중과 소통하는 가장 적합한 공간이라 생각했습니다. 골목의 코너를 부드럽게 감싸는 곡면 유리 파사드와 그 안에서 빛나는 대형 미디어 월에서 소통은 시작됩니다. 1층 오픈 스튜디오는 가변형 시스템을 통해 다양한 참여형 라이브 방송을 지원하는 상징적인 공간으로 계획되었습니다. 2층으로 올라가면 우드 쉘프와 모듈형 가구가 어우러진 '라이브러리' 컨셉의 라운지가 펼쳐져, 편안한 분위기 속에서 토크쇼와 네트워킹을 즐길 수 있습니다.
3층 라이프스타일 아틀리에는 전문적인 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 특화 공간으로, 테라스의 운치를 만끽하는 키친 스튜디오와 요가, 명상 등의 콘텐츠를 촬영할 수 있는 웰니스 스튜디오가 마련되어 있습니다. 또한, 개성 있는 크리에이터들의 영감이 돋보일 수 있도록 다양한 모티브의 전문 오디오 스튜디오를 곳곳에 조성하였습니다. 마지막으로 문화적 소통의 상징성을 LP 라이브러리 라운지로 풀어낸 네트워킹 공간은 크리에이터들의 연결과 확장을 지원하는 플랫폼으로 계획하였습니다.
‘재능 있는 크리에이터들의 꿈을 품는 인큐베이터(Incubator)’
연남 드림플러스의 각 공간은 전문화된 스튜디오의 기능과 그 공간을 열정으로 채워나가는 젊은 크리에이터들의 교류의 장으로 활용될 든든한 토양이 될 것입니다.
우리는 이곳이 창작자들의 열정과 영감이 대중과 만나는 가장 비옥한 거점이 되기를 바라며 희망 가득한 공간으로 계획하였습니다. 이 열린 무대에서 수많은 크리에이터들의 잠재력이 발현되고, 그들의 이야기가 새로운 문화의 흐름으로 성장해 나가기를 진심으로 기원합니다.
Yeonnam Dreamplus Open Studio
Dreamplus, operated by Hanwha Life, is an open innovation platform designed to support the sustainable growth of creators and revitalize the creative ecosystem. This project serves as the Yeonnam-dong hub of Dreamplus, established as part of this Social Support initiative.
More than just a video content production facility, this space was conceived as a 'Space of Connectivity and Expansion', where creators can communicate with the public, interact with one another, and grow. As an open studio in the city center, it functions as a creative hub that provides a practical production environment for creators while breathing new vitality into the local community.
The design of the building form draws inspiration from the organic brand image of Dreamplus. We envisioned it as the optimal space for public engagement, structurally designed to naturally draw the flow of external visitors inward. Communication begins at the curved glass façade that gently wraps around the alley corner and the large media wall glowing from within. The 1st-floor Open Studio is planned as a symbolic space supporting various participatory live broadcasts through a variable system. Ascending to the 2nd floor, a 'Library' concept lounge featuring wood shelves and modular furniture unfolds, offering a comfortable atmosphere for talk shows and networking.
The 3rd-floor Lifestyle Atelier is a specialized zone for professional content production. It features a Kitchen Studio where creators can enjoy the ambiance of the terrace, and a Wellness Studio designed for filming yoga and meditation content. Throughout the building, specialized Audio Studios with diverse motifs have been created to highlight the unique inspiration of creators. Furthermore, the networking space, designed as an LP Library Lounge to symbolize cultural communication, serves as a platform supporting the connection and expansion of creators.

Each space in Yeonnam Dreamplus will serve as fertile soil, functioning not only as a professional studio but also as a venue for exchange, filled with the passion of young creators.
We designed this hope-filled space with the vision that it becomes the most fertile base where creators' passion and inspiration meet the public. We sincerely hope that the potential of countless creators will flourish on this open stage, allowing their stories to grow into a new wave of culture.
